QueryPort

Terms of use

Terms for using this site and, where access has been granted, the QueryPort gateway during private beta.

In force from 8 August 2026.

1. Scope

These terms cover use of this website and, separately, use of the QueryPort gateway by anyone to whom we have issued a key. Reading the site requires nothing from you.

2. The gateway is in private beta

  • There is no public sign-up and no self-serve key. Access is granted case by case.
  • There is no published service level. We will not state an uptime figure until we can defend one with a year of data.
  • Rate limits are set per key and named when the key is issued.
  • We may change routing rules and providers. Where a change affects you materially, we tell you before it happens, not after.

3. What you may not send

Do not send content that is unlawful where you or we operate, and do not send other people's personal data unless we have agreed that in writing first. Providers apply their own usage policies to what passes through, and a rejection there is not a fault of ours.

4. Answers from language models

Output from a language model is probabilistic. It can be wrong while sounding confident, and no configuration removes that. Where a mistake would matter, keep a human in the decision. We do not warrant that any answer is correct, complete or fit for a particular purpose, and we say so here rather than in a footnote.

5. Your data and your code

What the gateway processes and retains is described in the privacy notice. Work we deliver under a separate agreement is transferred to you with its rights; there is no technical dependency that prevents you pointing your application at a provider directly instead of at us.

6. Ending access

You can stop at any time — stop sending requests and tell us to revoke the key. We may revoke a key for non-payment where payment was agreed, for use that breaks section 3, or if we discontinue the beta; in the last case we give notice in time to migrate.

7. Liability

During private beta the service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data, arising from use of the gateway. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Contact

Honest note. Written by the team that runs the service, so that it matches what the service does. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer — if that matters for your procurement, ask and we will tell you where it stands.
